Strike 2

Well as the second attempt to bring home the travelall from steve's ambulance ranch was crushed by mother nature and several inches of snow. Even here in brilliant we got blasted. If the snow melts at Steve's we could probably get the old girl out. If it wad a straight on winch out we could just use the cable to pull her out, but it is tucked in behind the garage so we either need to pull unto the yard in front of it. Or we need something that will get traction without spreading Steve's yard to pull it out where we can get ahold of it. My wife joked with me that mother nature did not want it to move.

I'm hoping to make my third attempt on the 1st of February. I have a place ready for her out back and a few tarps. The body work does not worry me as much as the exposed motor. If it is a typical IH frame it should be good except for the rear cross member. I hope. If I remember correctly the frame was split and sectioned in so I do have worries about that area. I have learned with old limos that sometimes these pieces of frame were not made from the same quality of steel. Here is to charging blindly into somrhing. And without knocking 3 times and no guide.
