special family request

We will be dusting off the '56 Meteor funeral coach one more time this year. A retired long-time local mechanic's family has requested it for his funeral on Tuesday after Christmas. We have no snow, so, no salt, so I think all will be well..........but it hasn't seen daylight in a couple of months......wish us well.

Offering a ride in the coach while still alive

The home I worked for had a gentleman make his prearrangements. He knew we had a 37 Ford coach and said he wanted to be "picked up" in it as well as use it in his funeral. The FD offered him a ride in it on the spot. Eventually he passed at Hospice and I did the removal with the 37....I never heard of anyone else getting a ride "pre-need" style.
