Well here is a project i have been working on for a guy this winter. It is a 1972 olds vista cruiser wagon "hurst olds wagon cloan" I had to remove all the wood grain trim, and weld up the holes, and a couple metal patches and a color change. I guess hurst made about 4 of these for the 1972 indy race for the rescue personal to drive around the track. I enclosed a picture from a article, with all the decals on it it should be a pretty cool driver when decaled up. Now on to a 46 ford top chop!

Sky light windows

My last "normal" car before going pro-car was a 69 Buick Sport Wagon, an Olds counterpart. When the engine gave me too much trouble, it and the complete parts car went to the wrecking yard.:bonk: I guess I should have looked into it more before I disposed of them. I already had my first ambulance, a 69 Cadillac Superior behind the bodyshop at work and wanted to drive it more than the Buick. Oh well.:(

As a former owner of a Vista Cruiser Amblewagon, I think this Hurst Vista Cruiser is the cat's meow! I love it!

Scott, I had a Buick Sport Wagon too! Mine was a 1965 and it had the 300 V-8 and 2 speed automatic. That tired drivetrain came out 48 hours after getting it home from Chicago, and I dropped in a 350 Chevy engine & Muncie 4-speed. Man it was cool! Robbed the clutch & brake pedal assy. out of a '55 Chevy and when it was done it literally looked like it came from the factory that way. Here it is just after the retro-fit drivetrain swap (back in the day,1993)

I also had a Buick Skylark Sport Wagon..a 1964 model. Somewhere along the way, the previous owner had it repowered with an engine out of a Buick Wildcat! That baby would pass anything but a gas station. I sold it when I bought my Lincoln hearse. Wish I still had it!

Spare parts

Not to miss out on extra parts, but if need, I still have both quarter and tailgate windows from the parts car.:pat: 69 Buick Sportwagon.
