Some pics from Piqua

No Richard it isn't nice at all, it is totally awesome! So was Todd Merrifield's and those guys from Alabama, hell they were all great!

Great pictures Jerry, did anyone ever find Frank Marassco? He just disappeared into thin air! I am worried in the land of Bengals and Browns wearing that Steelers shirt he may have got beat up and dumped somewhere.

Now there is one motley crew! Tell everyone to fill up before they leave I-75 because there are no gas stations for a long time. I pump 24.6 gallons after coasting in:17875:

thay should not allow people like this to gather in large groups.

Who's who.......please. Thank you very much.

I'll take a crack at it, but unfortunately Jim Tighe overloaded my brain with too much information so I'm only good for about 75% of the names:

Main row:

Paul Steinberg
Walt McCall
Ok, this is embarassing. No lie, I actually had a conversation with this guy about forgetting names and how embarassing it is, AND NOW I CAN'T REMEMBER HIS NAME! But you watch, as soon as you tell me I'll remember it from then on...
LeeAnn Boston
Brady Smith
(above in red) I'm gonna go with George Hamlin?

I don't think I ever got the name of the guy in the wheelchair, but I know he showed up in an "In Town $19.95" U-haul van that he reportedly put 1100 miles on..

Jeremy Ledford

Not shown: Danny Ryder and Ron Devies, and Jerry must have been taking the picture.

The gentleman in the wheelchair is my fellow railroad fan, George Tsiatsios ( no, I cannot pronounce it ) , from New Hampshire. He has 10-or-so Pro Cars and about 3 times as many trucks, such as Macks, Brockways and Autocars, and he wants a 1,600 h.p. ALCO RS-3 Diesel locomotive from the 1950's. He is not on the internet, unfortunately. A most fascinating fellow. If you meet him at future events, don't be bashful. He has a wealth of info to share, and is a goodly chap to boot. I don't know any of those other people blocking the view of the Bellefontaine product.

Chapter founders also made an appearance...

Three of the five founders of the PCS Miller-Meteor Chapter made appearances at this event: Dennis Goethe (and his wife, Peggy) from Ellisville, MO, Jon Wurm from Forest Lake, MN (current Miller-Meteor Chapter President), and Tony Karsnia from East Bethel, MN. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend the entire meet, but crammed as much socializing as we could into the short time we were there.

On behalf of the Miller-Meteor Chapter, our sincere thanks to all who supported this event. Special thanks, as always, to Tom Caserta, who is the most gracious host anyone could ever hope to meet. I would also like to say a special thanks to Tom McPherson, Walt McCall, and Brady Smith. These gentlemen played a huge role in the reasons this meet was held in the first place.

No idea when this was made? Where was I at?

I can help you with the first two Todd, namely Dan Herrick who you spoke to and Tom McPherson. Also the man in red is indeed George.
