Some people think Professional-Cars are made of gold!

While looking around on a website about a month ago that deals mainly with race cars and parts, I ran across this ad that said 1957 Cadillac Eureka Side Loader, $35,000 Well I clicked on the ad to check it out, and of course there were no pics. The ad said the car was all original, and had ben garage kept and had not run in about 20 years. So I start thinking, surely he ment $3,500. There was no phone number, so I sent him a message through the website and asked for more pics, and more info about the car, so I could let others here know about it. Well the other day I finaly got a message back from him saying call me in a month, I got a 63 S&S blocking it in. So I thought I would give him a call and talk with him, and thought you never know, he might be interested in joining the PCS, or might even already be a PCS member. Well I called him a little while ago, and yes, he is wanting $35,000 for the 57 Eureka. I asked him about the 63 S&S, and he said, "oh man its a beautiful car, its all original, and in beautiful shape, its just beautiful. Its all black, with black lether interior, and a half vinyl top, and it runs great. I'll take 8 grand for it." I said is this car also a 3 way? He said what the hell is a 3 way? there is no such thing. Its a side Loader. Then he tells me its missing the table, and the guy he bought the car from, the breaks went out and he wrecked it, and it needs a whole front clip. He said hes got a 63 Limo parts car with a good front clip, but if I wanted the car for 8 grand, I would have to find my owne parts car. It sounds like to me sence he said it had a half vinyl top, that it may be a Superior Crown. And can we say interesting prices? Oh its not over yet, he also told me he has the only 59 Eureka Flower Car in the world, and it has had a frame off restoration. I said I've seen it on CL for sale. He said umm no you haven't, it is not for sale. I said if its not for sale, then either there is another one out there, or someone is trying to sell your car. Needless to say, it was a very interesting conversation. He is suppose to send me some pics of the 57 and 63 this weekend. If he does, I'll post them.

pro cars made of gold

some folks place a sentimental value on a car,and it's not even close to what
the car is actually worth.but then again i have found some really fair prices
on cars(pro cars and others) a car is worth what someone will pay
for it. for 35 large that car would have to be an perfect unmolested
original car.not likely that this car is in that condition.

very rarely have i gone to look at a car that was discribed as being "real
nice",and found it to be the case:smiley_w_ballbat:

Rockford, there was someone there with an early 70s Cadillac ambulance for sale, maybe a 71-72, for under $1000, maybe 5-8 years ago. I think he had other older Cadillacs. Same guy? I definitely remember the town name

The guy who had the 71 Lifeliner in Rockford is named Lance, he still has the car. He will take less, but unfortunately its not even good for parts. Lance does however have a bunch of cool 50s 60s and 70s cars, some are for sale, but many are not. The imfamous "buyer beware guy" in Rockford is still around, but age is getting to him and his cars.

Same guy, same cars.

His name is Anthony and he lives in NJ.

He sells the MM badges and Eureka script badges on ebay under
magnumdiesel

Beware... and move on,
