What you are going to be sleeping on when Kandy gets angry with you!!

yes this would be the cheap one for sedan ambulances and wagons. crazy wheels on one end with a long handle. no way to hook it in except the wheel cups. what is surprising is the size of the tubing on it. bigger then most gurneys. I did not check the year of manufacture on it. but it has the clam shell buckles. definitely not something one would carry in a ambulance.

Chicago had 'em

Chicago PD had these in their "squadrol" units in the 60's.........used when an ambulance wasn't necessary. When the police brought a remains to the funeral home where I lived during mortuary school, they always were using these.

Several older factories in our area had these stretchers to get injured workers to the first aid room, now the new thing is golf carts with actual stretchers on them. CAMI automotive in Ingersoll Ont has carts with compatible to our equipment on them we only get to the first aid room were they meet us with the patient, as everyone at CAMI wears the exact same uniform we were a distraction to the assembly line trudging through the plant, distractions mean less production and you know the rest, even the plant bosses and nurses wear the same uniform,.
