Shes Home! Shes Home!!!!

Well today I finally got tmy 1976 Miller-meteor Classic Duplex Combination that I bought from Chief Ron back in January. After what seamed like forever waiting, the wait was well worth it. Shes everything Ron said she was and more. She made the trip from Ohio safe and sound. with the exception of the emergency break sticking a little, due to probly not being used in about 30 years. Hopefully this weekend I can find some time to get all the road dust cleaned off of her, and get our little E break problem fixed, and she will be ready for another season of PCS meets. I would like to say a big thank you to Chief Ron for all his time and pationts over the last couple months, Danny Ryder for his help with the shipping company, and Richard Vyse for putting me in contact with another shipper who worked her butt off trying to get it shipped for me, but in the end it was Sancrest that got it done. Its amazing what PCS members wil do to help out another member. Thanks again guys.:thankyou2::071::toocool:

Nice looking car and if it came from the Chief, you know it is well taken care of. If you find an orange bio-phone in there, that was promised to me so just ship it when you can. :bonk:

Glad it made it home.

Josh,

Congratulations on the delivery of this coach. These are excellent photos you have posted; receiving a new professional car sure is exciting!

I see the door curtains have swags, but the rear quarter windows do not. Are the swags removable?

Congratulations on owning this beautiful car. Did Chief Ron (what tribe is he from anyway?) tell you the history of the car or how he came to acquire it? :poster_oops:

Thanks guys.

Tony, I was wondering the same thing, I didn't get much time yesterday to look her over, but planing on making some time today. I wish the quarter windows had the swags also, but sence they don't if they are removable, I think it might look better without the swags when the Landau panels are off.

Paul, no, chief Ron won't say what tribe he is from, must be some kind of big secret. I do know that he bought the car from Shoemaker Funeral Home, in Columbus Ohio. I'm not sure if they bought the car new or not.

your new coach

Josh,
Glad your new ride finally got to you. I know Ron was blaming the weather but the truth is he was having sellers remorse.
That is one great car. We look forward to seeing more of it.

Congratulations on your new car! I don't know how you were so patient, but it has paid off now. Have fun with it, that's what it's all about. Will it be coming home to Ohio this summer?

Patient? ha, I couldn't hardly sleep at night, it was driving me nuts. I've never waited so long to get a car, but like I said, it was well worth the wait. And yes, it will be in ohio in July.

And Danny, bring along a 37 LaSalle and we will talk.

I think your right. If you noticed over the past couple of weeks, he did keep talking about driving it around, and kept saying what the hell was I thinking.:17875:

I hear ya, Josh. It was only three days between the time I bought my car and when I got it home, and I was the same way. Months like that, no way. I am sure Chief Ron, of the Ohio Tribe, will be happy to see it again in July, then again, he may not let you leave with it! Glad you are happy with it and make sure you cruise around with a big smile on your face, as if you wouldn't anyway....

Why drive his cars when he has your to drive. I can see Chief now roaming the countryside with lights and siren blaring doing all the things to the car he's always wanted to do with it but wouldn't because it he owned it. Not the case anymore.:twak:
