Sharon and I want to thank Jim and Amy for hosting the picnic yesterday at their home. Thanks also to all who brought food, and to Paul and Peggy for driving us down there. Got to see our old car, the '64 MM, which Ron has spiffed up quite a bit. Had many interesting conversations on a wide variety of topics. All in all, a goodly day. Thanks again.

According to Jim, this was the 7th Bring Your Own Coach Picnic he and Amy have hosted. As usual Jim had lots of food and as usual everybody eats all day. There should be some pictures up soon as I seen plenty of shutterbugs there. Let's see if I can name everybody there without leaving anyone out. I will try: Jim and Amy Shultz, Amy's parents the Yates', Scott Avanaim, Jerry Jacobson, the Kemners, the Tighes, Tony Milletello and Nina, Mike Stevens, Barb and Me, a couple of people I did not know. I believe there were eight cars present; the Schultz' three Cotner Bevingtons,Mike's 61 M-M,Scott's M-M, Tony's M-M, My M-M and Jerry had the lone Superior. Out of all of those cars there was one ambulance, two hearses, and five combinations. Special thanks to Mike Stevens for bringing my tires up that I bought from Tom Caserta.:thankyou2:

Hi, Thank you for a great picnic. We enjoyed seeing and visiting with all those in attendance. I (my mind not being as sharp as it once was) forgot two spoons. One was black slotted and the other white plastic. You can hold on to them or pitch them....your choice. ANDDD....tell your mother to add one stalk of chopped celery to that recipe I gave her. Hope to see you all again soon.
 
the Ohio Chapter picnic

Another Ohio Chapter picnic is history. Jim and Amy do this annual gig rain or shine. Rain or shine it is always a great day. Great people with a story you have not heard before. A shaded back yard to park the best cars. And lots of cooked to order food. What a day!
