When I was looking for a hearse a few years ago, I was instructed to go and see a mid 90s Fleetwood that had been parked for a few years. The interior was unfinished, but the car only had 6000 miles on it. It had been down south and at some point wrecked, and all work had been done except the interior - no table, or anything, just the bones in the back. Seller wanted $5000 which was more than I wanted to spend at the time. Lost track of the car until I went to look at a 63 Lincoln advertised. See the result. Flea market owner paid $1500 for it, with the unfinished casket area and just 6000 miles!... then made it into this:
The 63 Lincoln was too much of a project for me: Has 113k miles, title, engine turns, interior fair, car is complete solid underneath, sitting 16 years, but needs new hood and trunk lids as well as the obvious 1/4 rust -they want $1200 firm. PM me if anyone is interested (It's not mine but I have the contact info) as I'd hate to see it be scrapped.
