Thanks Richard! The first and only helicopter ride I ever had was at the otherside of the Bagnell Dam in Missouri and it was a $20.00 dollar one. Took the vid cam with that time thinking it would distract me from any heeby's or Jeeby's, that it did. It was hands down as much, if not more fun than riding a motorcycle with the rush of being a kiss away from the pavement as your holding on to the handlebars. We diid some steep climbs. which was very cool coming out of the jet wash of the engine and blades sound of the engine goes silent as you climb, then some banking where you wonder what is it that is holding you in the seat. A low pass over the boat partying sight over the lake of the ozarks, with the girls jumping up and down on the bows of the boats flashing. Forgot the fact the pilot was telling us about the amount of shoreline around the lake was the largest something or other. Bell jet Ranger a couple flew with us and really wanted both to be in the back seat. Great for me as the canopy glass was right beneath my feet. I would dod it again 100 times, even after my bud Jim Skelton told me afterwards the copter had done a nose dive awhile back into the lake for an emergency landing thanks Jim! I would still do it again. I heard afterwards that the coopter pilot over at Mount rushmore is even more daring flying flat out right straight at the monument before a pull out. Never confirmed the tale but the "Badlands" was definitely unwordly like being on the surface of another planet.
