Rotary Club Car Show

Yesterday I brought the 63 Hightop to the 20th Annual Rotary Club Car show in Portsmouth, RI. It was a hot humid day, and about 100 cars showed up. There was a lot of beautiful and unique vehicles there including a 1921 American LaFrance Fire Chiefs buggy, and a 1920s Gypsy Fortune Tellers Trailer. I sent a couple of photos to Paul, to post when he has a moment. More photos can be seen at Cruisin Bruce Palmer's website. Just type it into Google. A nice photo of my car is there, although he calls it a hearse. Oh well. By the way, I won Best in Show! Thanks yet again Ed!

CONGRATULATIONS Brendan !!!! :dancing:

Congratulations on the win...

I'll bet that the gypsy wagon came from upstate New York, because they are very rare. Custom dictated that when a gypsy dies, that the wagon be burned after the funeral. There was one in the building where my 1964 Corvair came from, and it was for sale, but way out of price range for most people. Back in 1980's, it was priced at $20,000.

Congrats Brendan, and Ed too! Great job to you both, and Brendan it is well deserved, that sure is a beautiful car!
