HELLO!!!!!
Hello still hereWhat happened? Fifteen years ago it was so active. I realize that I have retired from funeral service and no longer have pro cars but this was such an active group.
What appears to be the issue has nothing to do with our forums; rather, people have become addicted to Facebook and the instant gratification of others giving "likes" to their posts. For example, if someone posts a picture of a vehicle, it will be seen by thousands of people, but 3 or 4 weeks later, it is so far down the page that it almost never gets seen again. A couple of months later, the picture will not even appear, since even Facebook doesn't have the resources to keep pictures forever, unlike our forums, where pictures are posted, and a discussion will appear; that thread can be found months or years later. Here is an example.... https://professionalcarsociety.org/threads/50-superior-ambulance.22389/ . I did make the call today to inquire whether it was still available, and was told it was sold about 3 years ago. Who knows, possibly someone cruising our forums might have seen the thread, made the call, and got themselves a one-of-a-kind survivor. Can't do that with Facebook! I encourage all of our members to post new content and to spread the word that we are still here. What happened? Fifteen years ago it was so active. Im here…stillI would like to do a roll call of all our registered users who are active, even if you only normally read. If you don't normally log in to read, please log in to just give us a heads-up.
Please give a simple HERE / YEP / HELLO will do. We need this to adjust our hosting plan price up or down
Thanks, Paul
