Will it ever end!!! Turns out when I ripped the exhaust out from under the car, it caused the "Y" pipe to smash in the cover of the bell housing and also into the transmission poking a small hole in the cover. Those issues are being taken care of but it will have to go to the muffler shop for a complete new system from the exhaust manifolds back.

That is one beautiful rig. Thanks for the videos. We know you went through H getting it home and still have to deal w/ a few issues but in the end those things will end up being just stories to tell and retell.

Congrads in a big way!!

all the time wating and you get in a hurry loading. those long wheel base cars set low going over anything. but nice to get it home. it's a nice car. like I told you

Me too! Just saw an article about your garage Steve in an old Mid-Michigan publication. All I can say is; "WOW!"
Coulda stopped by....you were less than two hours away when you were in New Castle, and less than an hour away driving down I-95 through MD.

Woulda coulda shoulda....

don't put duals on the car. go with single but go with 3 inch pipe. just as good a lot quiter and less of a hassle. and it will look right. it ain't a hot rod it's a ambulance. ;)

Turns out I cannot put duals on due to no space in the rear because the gas tank is off set. So I dropped it off this morning and more than likely going back to the original single set up.

Got these from Tony.

Richard ,congrat's on the ambulance , great looking rig, and great video's and pic's, hope to see it @ the 2010 international meet.

It will be there in Albany. Got the exhaust on with 3 inch tubes to muffler then reduded. It is very quiet and is a single system.

I take it they did not feel they could make the bend over the axel with 3 inch. it's a pretty tight bend with the 2. one thing you can do to releve it is go 3 to the muffler and use one of the single in dule out mufflers. then run the twin pipes down the same side. but really how often you going to run wide open were you need to get that much air out. the 3 to the muffler will let it run cooler and now it looks right. looks are what it is all about
