Remains of a Hearse

First time I have ever attempted to attach a photo. Hope it works. This is a hearse owned by a "competitor" and one of my best friends. His funeral home is 9 miles from mine. Anyway, yesterday morning before daylight to local delinquents stole his only hearse and went for a joy ride. This is the result. Both of them are in serious condition I understand. So, being without hearse, I loaned them one of mine ('92 S&S Victoria). This wrecked hearse is an '06 Cadillac Federal.

If the one on the site is not working you can upload it to a place like http://imageshack.us/ then after it is uploaded click on the image and after it loads right click on it and select "copy image location" then in the posting screen here the 5th icon on the top from the right side is one with a mountain and sun click that then paste the thing you copied earlier there and select ok and you are done.

EDIT: Guess you figured it out. Wow that is a horrible wreck. That sucks. Good to see competing places still help out others though. Wish I could grab those landau bars for my garage wall before it gets scrapped though.

It happens all the time

I've said it in posts before, and here it is happening all over again.some of the best people in the world, who come through time and again, are funeral and EMS people.many thanks, danny.

According to law enforcement they were traveling at a high rate of speed and tried to jump a creek. Brilliant!

Yeah, thats brilliant alright! Try to jump a creek in a car that is heavier than just about anything out there. Sounds like someone has been watching too many re-runs of the Dukes of Hazzard. I sure hope the funeral home had good insurance, as those things aren't cheap. That's too bad.

"I sure hope the funeral home had good insurance,"

I believe the more correct statement would be....I hope the parents of the kids involved had good insurance OR lots of money. They should be responsible for the damages, not the funeral home or it's insurance carrier.

Jeeze.. Speaking from an EMS point of view. That looks fatal. Hopefully they survived, so the long arm of justice can smack them on the back of the head.
