I probably didn't spell Randal Eastern right but not the point. i purchased a 2 DVD set off of ebay entitled "Classic Police Training Films Volumes 1 and 2" I didn't pay much for the set but anyway a lot of the training footage is shot in Miami. A couple of scenes show R/E ambulances for a pretty long time in them. If I guessed I'd say these were shot in the early to mid 1970's.

I post this because if memory serves me correctly one or some of you used to work for that company. The website on the DVD labels is www.everything4lessstore.com
 
Denny Shira is a big fan of Randle-Eastern Ambulance (he has it mentioned in a twisted song lyric as his signature on here).

My grandfather lived in Miami and was transported by them on several occasions, as they had a near-monopoly at one time. I have a funny story about the Randles but I'd probably get in trouble if I wrote it for dissemination on the internet...
 
I worked for Eastern Ambulance in Lincoln, NE. Not the same company. Eastern sold out to Rural Metro in the early 90s and then went away in 2001.
