There's always something interesting afoot at the body shop. Who can identify the part in the photo? (and no, this will not be going on the '75 MM!)

I'm with Richard on that one but only by the color and pattern of the rally stripe. the angle is not one you normally see and I don't recall one tucked in on the sides like that. a deck lid with a hour glass figure. the only other car using that small a lid other then camaro - firebird was the barracuda. so thats what it is stripe is not right for the GM car they were rounded off.
but I'm guessingit a lot bigger lid then it looks in the picture

Ging Ging! Richard was the first to get it, though you didn't say 2010 [/U] Camaro as Ed pointed out. The hood was nearby. The owner didn't want the vinyl stripes offered by GM, so he brought it in to have rallye stripes painted on the hood and trunk lid. Not having seen many new Camaros, I id'd it right away, but thought the same as Ed about the unusual shape.

...and my guess

You gave the answer to quickly...I was going to guess "bucket on a stool":D

I too thought Camaro but haven't been around any 2010's to recognize the wierd trunk lid design.

We ought to do this again in the future.
