Question about New Jersey meet 2008

I went to this meet and they were filming a piece which I thought was either going on public television or the Speed channel. . . don't remember the details. I never saw it however. Does anyone know what happened to this video/story? Thank you.

It was in an episode of Motorweek. They screwed up a few things, but here it is.

That is the first time I have gottin the chance to see that. Did you notice when he was talking about a combo it showed a hightop ambulance? Other than that, and a couple goofy one liners, they did a pretty good job. Thanks for posting that John.

wounder just who owned that one??? but this is the first time I saw that clip to. we did see the new clip that aired on the locale news. they were filming this as we were judging the cars we were judging the 3 way when I reached in to take his pulse

thank you

I had been wanting to see this and kept forgetting to follow up. They filmed some of my daughter who was very intrigued, especially by one of the ambulances. Unfortunately they didn't include her in this spot, but nonetheless I enjoyed watching it.

That was one of the screw ups I noticed. Another was that they called the horse drawn hearse a coffin at one point. Also they mentioned Greg Merksamer as putting on the event every year. Yes, he does do alot for us, but the chapters put the events on.

As the DVD Steve Chupnick mailed me from MOTORWEEK a couple of years ago went missing somewhere in my files, this was the first time I've seen this report myself. I was a bit surprised myself to be billed as the host instead of the publicist for PCS Mt. Laurel, but I won't deny I worked awfully hard over a few years to get MOTORWEEK to cover an International Meet. So far as lobbying our case was concerned, it helped A LOT that program host John Davis was the President of the International Motor Press Association at the same time I served a term on the IMPA board of directors, and we've stayed extremely friendly ever since. The proximity of central New Jersey to the program's HQ in Owings Mills, Maryland, it goes without saying, also proved crucial in making 2008 "the year" the cameras came. Though the PCS' visit to the PL Custom plant also wound up on the cutting room room floor, I remain grateful for the two full days they spent filming us and the obvious interest Mr. Chupnick & his crew demonstrated. Even if a high-top ambulance was mistakenly IDed as a combination, I'm overall thrilled with what was ultimately aired.
