puttering around

since we got the big move and Christmas is at hand with stuff to do every day we are tinkering on te 58. now is the someday latter time to get the things we put off till now. the ground cable has one of the temporary connectors on it so lets get that changed. Dan has explained how to do that so no need for me to try to do better. but all you need is a butane torch and a little don't get in no hurry. then you to can have good battery ends.

while we were at it the charge wire with it's crimped splice just looked shaky. it was rather large for the wire size. I tugged it out with vary little effort. we then butt spliced the wire and used some heat shrink to seal it.
so now we have a good ground and a good charge wire. one more thing done.

I got to checking things and I'm not real sure but i don't remember ATF looking like this?

I did get the paint here. once I figured out you spray this 8 parts paint and one part reducer I got a lot better coverage.

that and lack of use mosley has allowed the water to accumulate. we'll do the suck out, coat the firewood add run and do it again 3 or 4 times to remove most of the water logged flued. I know there are services now that will change the fluid completely. but none near me.
