Thought some of you might enjoy seeing this '59 Superior ambulance on a ceramic tile. It is part of a wall installation at the Vermont State office complex in Springfield, Vermont. Each of the tiles shows an important event, person, place, etc. from Springfield's past. This tile is duplicated in another spot in the building, mounted individually, next to the regional office for the State Fire Marshall (where else?) I can't provide any more background (yet) but I'm assuming this is based on a real photo.

Very cool. I'm surprised to see a '20s ladder truck on a scene with a '59 ambulance. You would think they'd be using an updated rig by then. And I'm sure if you go to YouTube, there are videos on how to remove wall tile
