Today was the joint gathering of Procars in the Park as the PNW Chapter joined forces with the Rain City Hearse Club for a procar picnic. It was a beautiful 92 degree day in the Seattle area and 9 professional cars were on display at Wilburton Hill Park. Our chapter newsletter editor Carl Kietzke was on hand to document the cars with photos. Look for updates on our website soon! Cars in attendance were : Rick Franklin 86 Lincoln S&S Coach; Mike Smith 76 Cadillac S&S Centennial; Dave & Hope Feis 82 Cadillac Eureka Coach; Mike Lee 1968 Cadillac Superior Coach and 1968 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limo; Jim Quinlan 88 Lincoln Superior Coach; Gino Sanfilippo 78 Cadillac S&S Victoria; George Newcomb 96 Cadillac S&S Victori; Kat Taylor 92 Cadillac Superior. we also had a drive by from the local fire dept looking at the cars as well as several peple who saw the segment about the Rain City Hearse Club on local TV. I also took the opportunity to hand out information sheets and applications to the PCS. All in all, it was a great day!

was a great day

We northwestners don't know what to do with 90 degree heat. my hearse never had a/c and the a/c in the limo is not working but at least the cars are dark blue so they don't get to hot:pat: Getting two cars there was a family affair by my brother and dad, they drove the limo down and my son and I brougt the hearse,Its great to have these show to get us all together they had a great time vistiting with other and they enjoy the cars.
BUT on the way home we lost a alt.belt and had to leave the limo behind for a few while we ran dad home to get him out of the heat. we went back in the mini van with a new belt and I gave my brother the choice, finish the ride home in a mini van:sleep: or drive a fine stately 1968 cadillac fleetwood 75 in dark midnight blue on a fine 90 degree sunny day:specool:.He very quickly said a/c mini van :pat:
Had a great day this what the hobby is all about

good get to gather is always spiced up by a little adventure. if you got the car back home under it's own power it was a good trip.

Missed Out

I'm sorry I missed out! I didn't dare ask for more time off this month with just getting back from vacation. I was excited when I left work to find "Old Blue" out in the parking lot.
