PCS member Pat Caruso has been fighting cancer for quite some time. He is now scheduled for a bone marrow transplant. With the expertise of his doctors, prayers from everyone and I suppose a little good luck, Pat is expected to recover. All things being equal, he will spend four, or five months recovering.

Pat, we wish you the best! Your PCS friends will be praying for your full recovery.

To my PCS family,
Thank you all, so very much, for all the prayers and kind wishes sent my way!

I found out about three weeks ago that a stem cell donor was found for me - so the last three weeks have been a crazy whirlwind. I've been trying to wrap things up at work and at home - plus all the pre-transplant testing has been time consuming.

But, I am truly blessed that a suitable donor was found, and the timing was perfect with regards to my health. I'll start my chemo and treatments by May 1.

So, thanks again, for all of your support. I am touched at the outpouring of good wishes!
