To my PCS friends: Please say A prayer for Bruce's 2 yr old Grandson Owen Gosney.
He is at Sick Children's hospital with a serious lung problem. He had surgery yesterday and seems to be a bit better today. Apparently this came on suddenly A couple of days ago out of the blue. I look upon Bruce's children and grandchildren as my own. Bruce and I have been friends (more like brothers) for well over 40 years.
 
I am happy to report that little Owen's condition has improved. He is not out of the woods just yet,but yesterday the doctors took out one of his two chest tubes. This evening he pulled out his IV,and since he is well hydrated the doctors said it could wait till tomorrow to be restarted. all his other meds he can get by mouth.

Greetings to all! The Lord has heard our prayers! Very happy to report that Owen is progressing nicely. Was up walking the corridors with dad and played in the playroom today. Still on IV antibiotics,but it is not slowing him down.
Starting to talk about when he will be released,possibly later on this week. :)
 
Owen has been released from the hospital

:) I am happy to report that Owen, accompanied by his parents Heather and Adam,and his big sister Lilly, has been released from Sick Children's Hospital!
He will continue for a while on oral antibiotics, and will be very closely
monitored by his pediatrician. There will be follow up visits to sick kids,
and hopefully his recovery will be uneventful.
