Plastic coffins

Last night i saw the evening news. And they showed a plastic company that has lost work, that is starting to do injected molded caskets. They had like 18 models that they are going to have out on the release, some with a marble- granite finish, also Painted finish, They looked pretty good. As i was not expecting the story so i was not prepared but they did list the name of the company. I dont know if they have done any advertising in trade mags, if anyone may know more info out there. The business i know was in michigan?:pat:

Lighter Weights

Maybe the lighter weight caskets will be more adapatable to the Hearses of the Future without the traditional Cadillacs and Lincolns?

plastice caskets

Here is more on plastic caskets. I went to google and found more info than I needed. In Atlanta there are stacks of plastic caskets near the airport. Now is the CDC expecting some big outbreak or is someone gone into the plastic casket business? The ones in Georgia look like big storage boxes.
There must be more than one company out there getting into the cheap injection molded burial boxes.
Spend a minute (or several) on Google after you type in plastic coffins. See the pictures.

Hey, as long as it is "Made in Amercia" it is a great idea and prefer over the Chinese stuff. Story was wrong about average caskets prices. I know as a funeral director, I would love to get 3-5 thousand for a casket but not happening. I bet these will last about as long as a bronze or copper.
I like it!
