This car was for sale (I think) about a year ago by some "dealer" that floods Craigslist in the SE (the front plate is a clue). I suspect that this might of been a former Pugh Funeral Home car from Asheboro NC. Neat that it has the datemarks on the hood. Interestingly enough.....if this one is in fact the former Pugh car, it made it's first appearance on CL the day my friend Andy Shaw passed away. Had he been alive he most likely would of owned this car as it matched his 92 Victoria that was from Pugh's that Kent Dorsey now proudly owns.

Calling Pete Graves!!! Lmao! :p :p

I think this may be the one he just bought. Not 100% sure but he kept talking about a Masterpiece he was purchasing down south. I kinda like the green with green landaus to match.

.

Oh lawd Cary, those mid 80's wrong wheel covers on your photos...

Darryl is correct the car is mine loaned to my used car salesman for a spookey party in Philadelphia. Coach was from the Mc Dougald Funeral Home in Anderson S.C they purchased it new. The S&S trim on the hood was specially ordered by by them as is the color that is theirs (fleet color). I was told their two 2010 Masterpieces also wear the trim. They also own a 1923 Dodge hearse that is Funeral ready. Mr Chuck Hinton is the man in charge and a real gentleman. Posting proves one thing the PCS membership does not miss much. Pete

They went all out on this one

Short of limousine-styling, they went all out on options for this Masterpiece. Indeed, the unique color sets it apart, as does the S&S cobra top, date mark trim, 3-piece formal drapes, and RH hinged rear door.

These mid-'90s commercial glass cars seem to be garnering more interest on the collectors' market. I know of a few people, in addition to myself, who have recently added S&S Masterpieces to their collection.

Thanks Tony for pointing out how unique the Masterpiece is ,I did not realize it. It does have a stablemate a 96 Black Commercial Glass six door. I met my first Commercial Glass six door at the New Jersey National meet. My wife and I were impressed with the fact it was a coach built car not just cut in half and a chunk added but a real custom made model. Just a the Durham,Le Baron,Deitrich of the past. Your Masterpiece is also a sharp unique color. Pete

I assume this one has the rare black leather inside as well..if so it makes for an even more stunning car. Since Kent got the ex Pugh 92 the green/black has really grown on me (as well as Kent as evident by doing another car in the same color which I am waiting to see done). And I agree with Tony.....the commercial glass S&S's seem to be getting VERY sought after.

Everytime I saw this Masterpiece on Ebay or Craigslist I just drooled. Ive always wanted a green coach, now kicking myself in the posterior for not grabbing it when I had a chance.

.

S&S has always color coded the landau bars with the body color. That's an easy way to spot a repaint, most people don't think of changing the bow color.

I just looked at some pix I had saved from the Ebay or Craigslist (not sure witch one), and this one is not the same one as thought. That one did not have the date marks, plus the other appears to have another tag under the Cadillac script on the back door. For green not being that common, this would be the 5th one I know of, two having a green top as well.
