i need a new battery for the 86 again. went down to see what they had some thing called a exell was all and the interstate. I asked what no Delco and the man said I can get you a delco. so I waited a day from my new battery. it a 6 year 700 cca and 40 bucks cheaper then he exell 650 cca 5 year one. so it does pay to keep it original if you can. I wouldn't have to loose that point .

I don't believe that there is a point deduction for batteries..

the points are all in my head the 40 bucks are in my wallett. the point I was making is yes you can put it back "origional" by sometimes just asking and waiting a day or two. does it make a difference when you open the hood and look, it does. think about when you replace things. is this the corect labled battery for this car. no it's not. but to glance over and see the AC delco brand name in the GM car looks correct.

I just bought a Interstate for my 85 Superior last week, it was only about $15 more than the AC Delco. Defanitly can tell not original, that green really jumps out at you.
