PA speakers or something else?

We need advice and where better to get it than here? What type of speaker is used on the PA systems on procars that are so equipped? Will these type speakers work if hooked up to a car radio? We are looking for something that will be weatherproof and I thought maybe PA type speakers would fit the need. Any advice on where to buy and adaptability will be appreciated.

boat supply house. in fact I got two of them here if you want them. I thought they would work in the car with the electronic siren. but there impedance is off for the federal PA. the 4-8 ohms doesn't match up to 11 ohms.
