I had to pull the carb as the float sank again. took a radiator out as it was leaking and thought as long as it's down this far I might as well overhaul this thing setting here. so I did the used car overhaul. it's a true pro car decide to do one thing and you have to fix 5 others to do the one. but bare wires broken ends and the bolt to long in the ground strap latter. new hoses and thermostat plus retainer ordered. we are ready for the the carb again and the radiator when it gets repaired. then we can go around the block some more. we must be getting some were opened the back door and we got lights now. never had them before. wounder if I can get them bullet lights to fit. now that would be cool.

Man that sounds like a day working on the 64 when it first got here. It was worth it in the long run. Sometimes the tank on the money pump would run a little low though.

that 51 was one I used to compare things to. so vary few of them have tunnel lights. but the tunnels on that one looked to have been added on like the Henny ones. it's time to take the sander out and see if I can find the holes for the nameplate in the fender.

just shows that you can't see the details in a pictures of the car. especially when it's been passed around the net a couple of times. all I could see was they were not shaped the same in the front as mine. but looking again I wish I had those rings and lenses. definitely welded in and leaded. just not with the 10 exeter lb mine have. this one has weathered enough to show were they made the roof splice. way back just before it made the curve in the original body
