Out and About With The '64

We've had the '64 for just over 2 weeks and so far we've had it out to 2 parades. It has performed almost flawlessly (still fighting an idle problem) and gets almost 10mpg on the road. The first trip was down to Forest, Ohio (about a 135 mile round trip) on July 12 for an evening parade. My new avatar photo was taken there. I love how Rob managed to catch a burst of light on the beacon. I'll post a larger version below.

Yesterday we took it up to Castalia for the Cold Creek Festival Car Show and Parade, an afternoon affair. Barb and I watched the parade, her cousin Jeff drove it for us. I think it's more fun to watch a parade than to be in it. Zach and Kenzie rode along and enjoyed themselves a lot.

ten might be all she will do on this gas. if she is running smooth and the tail pipe is clean then thats all you can do. the suburban does about the same on corn.
