One More Addition

I would Personally like to Thank PCS Members Scott Anderson and Tony Karsnia for there Hospitality Yesterday in the Latest Addition to my Extended Fleet ('71 Caddy M&M Hi-Top Volunteer Ambulance) Even though it'll probably be one of the last Additions I make to the fleet for quite a while (House Hunting)

It was very Nice getting to meet you both and I thank you for your Help, Info and Insight on things yesterday... and also for Making Me Extremely Jealous of your Ambulance (Scott) and your Combo (Tony) ....Not Fair! (lol) The Trip Home was an Interesting One....Quite Stressfull Weaving what must've looked like a Grizzly Bear Straddling a Circus Bike In and Out of Noon Hour Traffic in the Twin Cities... Got quite a few Looks, and even a few Thumbs up from some fellow Commuters. ...I Have never been So Happy to get home as i was yesterday!!! And then wouldn't you know it, a day that had been Overcast most of the day, decides to let loose and down pour on me as i backed into the Drive!!! URGE!!!... But Once Again Thanks to Both Scott Anderson and Tony Karsnia for everything

Glad to hear you made it home safely. If you thought Sunday morning twin cities freeway traffic was interesting, you should see what it looks like on weekdays. Another one of life's adventures!

I think the '71 went to a good home and look forward to seeing photos of the progress. If you quest for a home goes anywhere with that one we talked about online, I'm sure there are others here that would like to see photos of that, as well.

With the '71 gone, I was able to get the '68 in the garage yesterday afternoon. Good timing for the expected severe weather later this week.

:wwpics: Ryan, congrats on the new car. Dont forget to send me the complete story and pics to put in the newsletter, if we ever get one out.

Scott, You wanna know something that I thought was Rather scary while we were headed home on the Freeway there..... As we were Chugging along, some Lady Pulled up along side the Trailer in her SUV, as we were traveling at 55-60mph (Getting passed like we were standing still) She started Snapping Pictures of the Ambulance while she was going down the road along side us....Gosh I hadn't planned on actually Using the Ambulance before It got home! (lol)

At least Most people were Curdious enough to Yield to us as we Changed Lanes Navigating home in our Gas Guzzling Rig!

I started working on it Outside in front of the Garage Yesterday Evening After I Unloaded it from a very Thankful Trailer! :) and I started Hearing this Drip...Drip...Drip...Drip... at first I figured maybe it was Water Dripping off the Edge of the Roof of the Garage and hitting the Roof of the car or something...Upon further Investigation it was coming from around the Windshield so I quick Fired her up and Pulled her inside and resumed my work...

I Manged to get the Front Headlight Shrouds and Corner Light Assemblies Removed, and Preped for Paint... I will be needing new Cornering Light Assemblies for this '71 Caddy Ambulance... If anyone out there has extras laying around? Along with a Drivers Side Headlight Shroud w/ Headlight Trim Rings if Possible (Little Banged Up)

And Scott, I dont Know what kind've work that Landscaping Crew that once Owned this Did, but I think they left alot of there Product on/in the Car!!! (lol) finding alot of things Coated Thick with Dirt!!!

And John, Pics and a Story will be enroute Shortly!
