Well I started getting the fleet ready for Hudson. Tonight the Oldsmobile is sporting a fresh coar of wax, inside is cleaned out and she is sitting in a bay all covered up. Next is the Poncho, I start tomorrow. :drive2:

The prep is started on the eagle. Topped off the ac swapped the belt, new wiper blades. Next week front end alignment, recut the front rotors, and rebalance the tires. then she should be ready for the trip back again.

Just starting huh. Bill Wright has been on his for months and the same for me planning this trip. But when you have a car like my Lifeliner, takes more than a coat of wax getting her ready.

Really looking forward to this meet!!!!

Richard ....... Don't wax your car for a few more months. The paint is still fresh, and you don't want to trap the solvents between the body and the wax. Your new paint job will fail if you do.

The abuse I endure. Steinberg called and said I should increase the value of my Lifeliner. With $88 worth of gas in my car it was worth more than the car itself. :pat:

Go make your coffee...

getting so that if you wreck the car and totaled it you need to add the gas to the value to be properly compensated for your loss. new paint leave the wax in the can

Got started good under the hood getting the 73 ready yesterday for Hudson. Replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets, finished the paint touch up on the front frame and suspension, cleaned and gaped the plugs, got the final coats of paint on the replacement valve covers and air cleaner from off one of the parts cars, got a set of points to put in and change the oil, replace the air and fuel filters, paint the headers and install the re-painted valve covers and valve cover gaskets yet to do but should have all that done by the end of the weekend. Then the clean up begins!

Then the clean up begins!

On the news this morning in Daytona Beach, FBI agents swarmed the "Ga-Father's" house and dragged him out and off to jail. The informant said he saw Bill's picture on this site which helped them narrow the chase. Similar to Whitie in California, another mobster has been caught.

The family thanks you very much Jeremy so if I were you, I'd be on guard.

Yesterday on the 73 I got the the drapes removed for cleaning, repainted valve covers and new rubber gaskets installed, re-taped the engine harness, repainted bracketry and mounts, repainted headers and installed re-painted air breather along with a few minor repairs upgrades and checks. Now down to some minor touch ups, points, oil change and lube job and the mechanicals are done for Ohio!

Poncho Done

Last night I finished up the Pontiac and it is now sporting it's cover and in one of the rental garages. All I have to do is the 64 combo, 75 54" and the Pinner van........no pressure! I do have to say though the Olds and Poncho are looking good.
