Older hearse spotted in Michigan

Today while driving on Rt. 127 near St. John's MI I spotted an older landau hearse, easily visible on the east side of 127. To find it, Google "Uncle John's Cider Mill" in St. John's MI. Load a Google map using the Cider Mill address, then scroll north along 127 until you see E. Ranger Rd. The hearse is on the east side of 127, just north of Ranger Rd. It was fairly rusty. The landau bars are the very straight style. Superior? I was only able to glance at it for a moment. I'm telling you everything I know about the car here in this post. A glance of grill made it appear to possibly be '61. No I did not turn around to photograph it. I had a schedule to adhere to and didn't have time. Good luck! Tom

There is a haunted house near the area you described. They own 2 or 3 hearses that are in rough shape. I have contacted the owner and they are not interested in selling or parting. I will drive by on my way home a see if it is one of them I describe. I'll try to photograph as well. Give us a call next time you're up this way. You were 20 miles away from us.

man they look so much nicer with the correct tires under them. we got so use to looking at the half flat 235 redials the correct tires look strange. nice straight looking CB
