been taking the 58 apart. a lot of rust and broke bolts later we have the nose exposed. discovered that some one has fixed the left fender before. they did it some time ago as they used lead. not a bad job and it held up will. I was not impressed with the get the molding back on trick he did. but then I'm sure he was hoping not to have to take it off again himself either. looks like he did not have any small molding clips and used a large pan head screw. the screw would slide in to the molding and you then could get the nut tight to hold it one. getting it off was a pit harder. but off it came. now to hope for no more like it.
