Classic Car Motor Oil
I just ordered a case of motor oil for my 63 Cadillac. A friend of mine restores antique fire trucks 30-40s vintage and he told me about motor oil specially formulated for older engines. It has higher levels of ZDDP to protect valve trains better in older vehicles. I purchased a case of this oil for about $65 with shipping. It contains 12 quarts of oil. It is sold by the Indiana Chapter of the Classic Car Club of America. The website is www.classiccarmotoroil.com The oil arrived in 2 business days. I have not used this oil yet but many friends of mine in the Rhode Island antique fire apparatus society use it and recommend it highly. The oil came with about 10 brochures which I will mail to anybody that is interested.
