I was afraid this would happen and sure enough.......... it did....

One of the red flasher LENSES on the 70 Rescuer had a BIG crack in it when I removed it a few weeks back......I was hoping it would hold up long enough to get it put back on the ambulance....but noooo...after careful handling today it still split in half......AAAARRRGGGGGGGgggg !!!!

So I am in need of one lens....if ANYONE has a spare to sell....I would certainly be a buyer.....

Any leads would also be appreciated......:)

If seller needs to sell in pair that would work also.....

Hopefully I can find one before she gets back from the body shop....Anyone good at welding plastic ????

Thank you all in advance !!

I have one that I can spare.. I remember someone saying that there are two diameter lenses, so send me a measurement.. Paul

Jim, do get a replacement from any of the guys who has one, but don't throw out the broken lens. As it's simply split, it can be repaired with a careful application of clear epoxy. I've done it, and you can barely tell it was ever broken.

There are still replacements available now, but someone in the future may not find one and this might be the best they can do.

My friends at the shop have similar in a catalog. I haven't seen it but the info he sent to me is from a cut and paste

'59 Cadillac taillamps page 156 #91062155-std $14.99 ea. at SpeedwayMotors.com

I don't know how much this might help.

Still looking........single or pair......:)

Thank you !

Jim, mine are 4 3/4" outside lip to outside lip. I also have the seals. If this will fit, I'll put it in the mail tomorrow. I have lots of curtain rod holders and inside window trim (aluminum and corners). Jim

You could always glue it back together with clear PCV cement. We used this at the fence company I used to work for on Plastic fences. It's super strong stuff. Bonds well.............

i'll fix it

just send it here buddy. i'll weld it for ya. just gotta figure out where to attatch the ground clamp. hot glue gun fixes everything!! when it gets too hot here the hot glue ive put on about everything starts melting and the doors fall off. in colder weather it works fine. just stay where its cooler and no problemo! :my2cents:
