ode to a cup

I lost a vary dear friend today. you have all seen pictures of him. he was always quietly stand by to assist me in all my endeavors in the shop. a lot of time off to the the side more often then not his views were cropped out and left in cyberspace some were. when ever I could not find him work would come to a halt. a frantic search would begin. no spot was safe from the search till he was back by my side. but most of the time he was found in the cupboard that flashes end end end. he suffered a bad burn this last winter when a pitch log went up. I believe this weakened him to the point were he could no longer stand the strain of the concrete floor. he suffered a fatal internal crack 2 days ago and no amount of medical attention could repair it. he was laid to rest this morning amongst all the pomp and ceremony the budget could afford. missed but not forgotten. every time a old picture of him comes up my right had reaches out. I'll miss you old friend rest in pieces .

Sounds like the friendship Tom Hanks had with "Wilson" in Castaway...
My vote for Fun Words Seen In A Post for this month will be, "suffered a bad burn this last winter when a pitch log went up..."

You are in our families thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We hope coffee will taste better soon as you work to break in a replacement, but we realize that one will have big handles to fill. :4_11_9:

Our thoughts are with you. I'm sure he was a good cup, always holding whatever you needed to get you going.

In this difficult time, I'm reminded of the words of the 23rd Psalm, "My cup runneth over."

I hope that you will find solace in a new cup, as we all need one, and I hope your new cup will runneth over without being run over by your car.

Were sorry for your loss Ed. Hopefully you will find another freind to help you along on those many pro-car projects ahead!:biker:

Rest in peace ole coffee cup!:goodnight_smi:

My real sorrow is for the people of Miami, they can have him, sorry, no returns!
