Odd limo

I love in Iowa so I probably never will see one in person, but if you fo to www.paradelimos.com you can see more from the company that built this one. Be sure to check out the historic vehicle tab, you will know some of them.

20,000 for it with it 1200 rear cover. but one would think for 1200 you would get something better then this.

Although a lot newer, the rear look and top (somewhat) reminds me of the 70's former Presidential Turned 2nd Run USSS "H&E Tail Car" that was shown in the video of Reagan getting shot that day in DC? It's only use that I can see (other than a definate attention getter) would be a wedding or parade car. Probably would have to be a large city for that to pencil out. It is interesting! MM

odd limo

Thanks everyone. I agree that rear soft top is awful. It looks handmade. When I first saw this, I thought it had a removable rear hard top, but when they showed the photo of the rag top, it just took away from the whole car.

pseudo-scam, I think

Doesn't this look a lot like the phony Reagan limo that was on eBay within the last year? Same open back? I think this is some guy trying to flip a stock low-priced limo by cutting off the roof and slapping a cheap convertible top on it and marketing it as something unique. Who would own this? Only a tour operator. Like the open-roofed hearses in Savannah, GA. If the convertible top were high quality then he would sucker me into thinking that maybe there had once been a market for this type of professional car. It's just someone screwing around.
