NYS Limo issues still not over

Well the fight to keep collector stretch limos on the road in NYS continues to get knocked down, as more illegal limo operators insist on doing for hire work, without insurance, and uninspected cars. It is very disturbing and disheartening to ever think some of us will ever have our cars on the road again. Politicians still don't seem interested in talking to valid car collectors. Make sure you keep your eyes on your state DMV regulations, as Senator Schumer wants to push NYS DMV rules across the nation. You may also need to help your state weed out the illegal operators in your state, as they keep tarnishing the collector hobby. Here is a link to the story on the latest idiot in NY at the Albany international airport. Limousine operator operated illegally, arrested, DMV says | Local News | dailygazette.com In addition there is pending legislation to force all 9 passenger vehicles off the road after 10 years or 350,000 miles . This includes charter buses and stretch limos used for hire. There won't be any vehicles in the future to collect, they will be crushed, and not allowed on the road.
