Great pics, Richard. I'm jealous!

Sadly, My Criterion is turning out to be a whole lot more work than I planned. I've now discovered that the back floor is rotten. I'm about a hair's breadth away from being so frustrated that I give up and part the damn thing out...or run it off a cliff.

Perhaps I'll just settle for enjoying the MM world vicariously through you.

I'm sorry to hear that but, don't give up. A rear floor is not that bad to replace. Come on man, "You can do it!". :boo:

looks like a nice day for the show. but come on Doug a little water damage is normal. just remember there is a whole lot of us here that will give you 5 bucks for the car. any time your that upset you want to dump it. been there done that tore my t shirt in the process. some of them were my cars to. :pat:

Doug, the floors can be fixed, shoot, Ed put a new roof on the 73 he just sold and did a great job. With these rare cars unless the frame is shot there will be someone who would love to fix it. The one I just got had not been started in years and I bought knowing it was rusty and thinking worst case I could part it out for the lights, etc. but after knowing it will run and drive there is no way I will part it and all the rust is fixable whether you do patch panels or find better body panels off donor car but these things are not on every corner so it will be fine and if you really don't want a project post on board and some fine PCS member will help you dispose of it.:smiley3:
