we had visitors drop in today. Mike Stevens and his wife were just out on a drive so they stopped in to have a look at things. they got a good look at the before on the 63 and the 53. we got to hash over things going on That relate to us. but he said that Ron had asked him to be sure and look me up. he needs something. now I'm worried I know Ohio was hit kind of hard in the pocket book this last couple years. but to have people check up on us. I swear Ron I paid that ticket. it may not have cleared the bank yet but it's good. you don't need to check up on me.

You've got to watch him Ed. He has all those cars to maintain, you know, and he works a rather small area so his people base is not as large as he would like, so the commisions are rather small. Besides, his wife works in a hospital and even though she is a sweetheart and would never do anything wrong, the fact that he has connections to a hospital has taught him how to double bill. :drive2: :stop: :hide:

I told my mechanic yesterday I was claiming him as a dependant on my taxes next year. While I have not done any official tallying this year, I would say at the very least I have dropped over 3K in my cars this year and the Pinner is there now!

I like how Mike was "just out for a drive" 1200 miles from home. That guy is everywhere! I got an email from a friend in Tennessee once with a picture of a combo that had showed up at his local car show. Of course it was Mikes...

You wouldn't be spending so much in one year, if you had been properly maintaining them over the years of ownership. If you think cars are expensive, you should own a horse or a few dachshunds....... :4_11_9:

Paul...Been there on the Doxies...Very lovable but their back problems? No waay. I'll stick with my Chihuahuas and Mutt.

$$?? Try bringing one back from the grave. 4G plus, and the bodywork is not even done yet. Just got the back bumper back from the plater, and it looks good.

about 63s

Brendan,
Ed assured me he knows where all those wires under the hood go. Now why he was measuring the bullet lights and the missing tunnel lights on his 53 I have no clue.
That 63 will be awesome when done.
Mike

Mike I'm getting nervous. I should probably call Ed today!

miles away

Rocky,
I don't think we were 2 hours into this trip when I told Shelley we should have had the membership roster with us. It is still in the 61 from the Albany meet.
Next time I am out 'driving around' as ED calls it I will take the roster with me.
Mike
