pay $300 for a piece of plastic bumper trim. Ever since I purchased my '94 Superior in September I have been searching for the rear bumper trim. Salvage yards won't separate the trim and bumper and the dealer wants an insane amount. All I needed was the driver side.
I decided to pull it off the car today and pondered for a while. Solution! Fiberglass. I cut a cardboard template out and secured it to the back of the trim piece and loaded it down with glass. Perfect? No, but it's not 300 buck either. I got it shaped to the contour really well so when it's painted it will be really close to the other side. Should last me a couple more years
