I find myself in need of a brake pad for a federal Q. Anyone got any ideas were one could get one.

It is just a round piece of leather glued at the end of the stem. Might even be able to make one yourself.
Good ida there. I did cut one out of a piece of mud flap i have been using for years for all sort of things we'll see if it !holds going down the road.

708-534-4756 is Federal's number and ZH7148-0A is the part number for the shoe. The cost is around 15 bucks. But the bad news is they suffer from too much demand and not enough people. Spent 20 minutes on hold with them yesterday before I gave up.
