Nice 58 Hearse in service in Atlanta area

Wish I had known about it! Would have volunteered to carry some flowers. Ria Pell was a well-known Atlanta personality.

Have not researched yet, but does anyone know who provided the hearse?

Ryan Ricks might know who owns the 58. I know the Dead Ends Hearse Club was asked to use their hearses for the funeral. They had an event planed, so I don't know if any of the club attended the funeral.

Ryan sent me a PM with the woman's name who had called him. NOt sure if she was affiliated with Ria Pell or the funeral home.

Another possibility is that the hearse is owned by Willie Walker Funeral Home which is about 5 miles from me. I think that I am getting close to finding the car.

And maybe participating in a future funeral. I very much like the idea of Lilly carrying flowers. She was built to do this. Funerals don't depress me as I see death as a transformation rather than an end.

I have no use for Ghouls, Goths, Zombies and all that stuff! Save it for Halloween!

My ex-girlfriend owns one of the largest cemeteries in the Atlanta area. My strongly urges me NOT to participate there!

I'm almost positive that the car for sale by Butler Coach was a '57. I saw it quite a few years ago when Uncle Charlie was still alive. He told me he bought the '57 because it was the year he joined the business.
