Newbi

Hi all, New here so I thought I'd do a little intro-
I'm John, and have had my 1986 Eureka a little over 4 years now. With my Wife, Patricia (who has owned a 1985 Cadillac 6-pac Limo for 10+ years), we wanted to find a Pro-car club in upper NY to join. With little luck, we started our own local club - "Ride In Peace (R.I.P.) Funeral & Formal auto Society". I must say with over a dozen members in about 3 years, Upstate NY (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse) has a lot to offer in the lines of Pro-Car ownership :)

Here's to getting to know the people of PCS and making new friends. anyone in the area and/or wanting more info on our club, visit:
http://rip86.org

Yes (per Nikki's thread) the actual site has a 'Slotcar64' address - I AM into HO slotcar racing and simply put my RIP site on the same server to save money - LOL

Welcome to the site and you just missed a fantastic PCS meet last July in Albany. Get ready to join us in Akron, OH July 2011. You do not want to miss this one! I checked your site and just to let you know, the PCS is not a ghoul club and loved your pictures and events. Looks like scenes from AMC's new series "Walking Dead". We run our vehicles as there came from the factory.
Check us out and "Welcome" once again.

I. myself, wouldn't consider our club a 'Ghoul' club. even our home page sports Doves instead of skulls... but on the other hand, members are left to their own divices. Personally, I like stock, but as I drive my Hearse almost everyday, even I had to go a step up. After a number of times having the Cops stop traffic, having people pull out infront of me trying to 'beat the prosession', etc., I put some moon wheel caps on and plan on a hood cowl next year. Nothing that cannot be put back to stock in an hour or so (have an exrta hood - not gonna distroy the one on the coach).
I (personally) don't usually carry a casket in the back... accept maybe around Halloween, but I will say when doing shows, I get asked 100's of times "Where's the Coffin"? Usually I carry an Urn - "Uncle Urnie" is the name plate - made from a lamp -LOL

Again, I'm more into the class, design, honor aspect of the vehicle, but every show we go to, we're invited to more every day.

John,

Welcome. I just moved to the Southern Tier area, south of Elmira. Nikki Brady gave me some information about shows/drive-ins you guys participate are involved with. Hopefully, when spring arrives I can make some of them and meet you.

R/
Jon
