Aussie Vintage Ambulances

Pretty wild stuff.....some of those vehicles look absolutely hideous especially the photo of the Berrima Ambulance District where they're lined up from largest to smallest!!! BUT, they probably got the job done alright. Notice those BIG pillows on the cot?? I guess that's supposed to keep the patient from getting banged around from the rough roads to the hospital!! lol Kind of odd looking at the Ford and Chrysler bodies with the RH drive, though...I guess I'm just used to good, old American automotive ingenuity and design.
