New President?

As frustrating as our "long national nightmare" was, we not only survived it, but became a better, stronger Society as a result.

The PCS Northland and Miller-Meteor Chapters extend heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to our newly elected leaders, Rick Duffy and Paul Steinberg.

Who are our newly elected Board Members?

Congratulations!!

Both Rick and Paul have done wonderful things for the PCS and I am certain they will take the organization to new heights. They will prove to be excellent leaders, I am sure.

Hello future, good bye to the past. Onward and upward!

Hope all of you are having a great time in New York! Wish I could be there, but duty calls here> See you all next year...if not before

Ditto from CA.....

Ditto Bill Marcy's thoughtlful words of congratulations from Southern California! (*) I also understand we have Kevin O'Connell taking over the helm and stewardship of "the "late" Southern California Chapter... so we have triple good news! MM

Congratulations Rick and Paul! Not only congratulations but a sincere thank you to you both for all you have done these past two years to keep things moving in a positive direction. God bless and good luck to you both. Onward and upward !!!

The offical announcement was officially made in the members forum and posted during the membership meeting.

The delay in the response to the question that was asked well after the conclusion of the Board of Directors Meetings is surprising to me. Both presidential candidates vowed "transperancy" and to see the cloud of secrecy emerge makes me wonder if we arent in for more of the"good old boys" days. Not all of the Board members were able to attend the meeting and I think as members of the board , were entitled to know the outcome.

Congratulations! This is Great News!

"Art from Boise" along with Patty and "Queen Isabella" send our sincere congratulations and thanks to the new leadership and to all who are in attendance in Albany. I am in Boise right now, but I must confess my mind is Albany, and has been all week.

Despite that fact that I have just put one of my two cars up for sale (the 66 M-M Hightop ambulance), I am still very much in the club. I just have a lot going with two jobs, serving as President and co-founder of my own non profit group) and have many other irons in the fire (not the least of which is a VERY active-and free-spending-17 year old girl...no wonder why I have no money)!

Anyway, ditto to all that was said above! I wish to publically thank George Hamlin for starting the club and Walt McCall & Tom McPherson for remaining with us despite the last two year's events. Thanks to our current and newly elected and appointed dedicated Board Members and Officers for remaining with the club the past year and for doing your jobs so well. This is a volunteer organization, and without you, all we would have no club. Special kudso to Jeff and Mary Hookway, and to Paul Steinberg for the great work they do for the club, and this web site, which has now been the "official PSC Web site" for one full year!

I wish I had more time (and MONEY!) to devote to the hobby...but rest assured, my heart and love for the cars and all of you, is very much still in it.

Have fun in New York...and run those sirens and lights an extra 30 seconds or so for me. You know I'll be turning my head to the East and listening real hard between and 9:00 and 10:30 tomorrow (Saturday) night!

Rick, I'm sorry I don't know you. But I know Rick and Paul and saw them working very hard here in Albany. Paul was on the meet committee, and both were taking care of business. I'm sure their not answering your question was simply a lack of time, not a lack of transparency. You don't know me either, so I hope you'll take my comments as an attempt to be helpful. :)

I don't feel like anyone is trying to hide anything from anyone. I feel like things are more open, well as long as I have been a member, than they have been in a long time. We are leaving Albany with new leadership - let's move forward. I know the past can't be forgotten or erased, but let's stop bringing it up and move on. Any member's negative comments can affect a lot of people and bring them down. And we don't need that. Let's all have a positive attitude so it can reflect on everyone else. The camaraderie between most of our members at these meets is remarkable. We are about to leave the hotel as I type, and I hate leaving!

I for one am very happy with the results and Im sure Rick and Paul will do a great job, they have already shown this with the lack of presence with the last president. This got me wondering, did Wayne even attend this years meet?
