Need help with history 1932 Meteor

I need help finding information on a car we are restoring. We have an antique ambulance museum viewable http://www.goldcrossems.com/?page_id=681

I have a 1932 Chevy Meteor. There is hardly any info I can find for meteors from 30-32. All info ends at 29 and begins at 33. I don't know if it was a prototype or what but any help would be great. The chevy engine has been confirmed by casting numbers. The Meteor serial number is 161. It's a model 75. I am just hoping to get some more information about this year. Below are pictures. It is halfway through Restoration. These are before pictures.

I have been anxiously waiting for this coach to resurface. When it showed up on eBay i fell in love. You have one of the coolest finds to come available for sale in some time in my opinion. Hope you can find the history on her!

Edit: What are the chances of letting us see just a little sneak peek of progress to this beautiful coach?!?! :)

Here is a previous discussion about this coach. http://www.professionalcarsociety.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10828&highlight=1932
as stated in that thread this is NOT a '32, it is older. I just skimmed through the Miller-Meteor book, it says 1932 has a sloped windshield and more streamline look. In 1931 the exterior windshield visors were eliminated, so this puts this older than that. The only thing that I see (skimming through) that is close to the model number you posted is a 1930 meteor Buick, model 875-A. Not sure if this helps any.

If you can get some good shots of the front axle at the spindle area I can tell you what year you have. I am rebuilding a '31 Chevy at the moment and just happen to have the front axle in my basement. The '30, '31, '32 axles are all very different from one year to the next.

I'll also join Paul in saying I'm very glad someone picked this coach for what I'm sure will be a great result.

Hope to get pictures of axel tomorrow. The transmission, heads everything on engine is 100% verified 1932 Chevy. They all are stamped and match the correct sequence.

Just talked to Bo. The Meteor emblem says 1932 on panel and is stamped with serial number of meteor and serial number of 1932 engine from Chevy stamped with Piqua

I wonder if it was an early 32 before the body change? or the Miller-Meteor book has the info wrong. I will have to sit down tomorrow and read it very closely.
