need a stop strap

got the spots in place and wired up. but searched high and low threw 4 different light and my stash. anyone have the strap that goes into the lock piece on the inside. that hanige down thing in the picture

The only thing that I see is that you are missing the rubber bushing, which you can make out of a piece of rubber hose. On the bottom of the shaft support (small hangy-down thingy) is a locking screw. Loosen it, push toward the column, and then tighten it. Then insert a small screw into the hole and attach it to the windshield pillar. That part supports the shaft.

I was looking for all of it as what i had was pitted. But bar with the holes on either end is what unity has changed the hainny down thing in the first picture to.
