Well, you know that when we sell one, we buy another and this time is no exception. We sold the Chrysler limo and bought a 1977 Miller Meteor limousine-style combination. It is a solid car that runs well, but needs tlc and some finishing, but I think we can get it to a nice driver quality. We bought the car from Dan Herrick, who gave us a good deal on it.

Can't wait to see pictures of it. We are partial to the combo's and the limousine window style coach's here at home, versus the landau styles. Congratulations!

Thanks Michxel, I like them too. Some here may remember my 1978 Miller Meteor limo-style hearse, it was beautiful, but I always wished it was a combo. The car is not here yet, but once it arrives, I will try to get some pix up. Unless, in the meanwhile Mr Herrick would put one up.

The part of the story that Bill did not tell is the reason I originally got the car was I liked his 78 so much. Then I got a 78 from Tony and lost interest in the 77. so it is only fitting that Bill should get the 77.
Oh! and I just found out that the limo is coming to my neck of the woods. Sold to a person that lives about an hours drive from my house. Not a PCS member yet but rummer has it that Bill is taking care of that!

Dan, thank you for posting the picture and the rest of the story. BTW, as of now, Gus Boucher is the new owner of my old Chrysler limo and the newest member of the PCS!

Nice... Even better with a classy clear dome, red light on top. I almost thought it was the hearse from downstairs. They had a 78, but I think it was a Eureka. Just traded it on an 87 I believe. They go through Spitler of Montoursville, Pa. I didn't even notice it at first. One of the funeral directors is our fire company accountant. I joked with him, we just bought a new ambulance, and they sent us a $3,000 rebate coupon for another new unit-which we don't need. I said that he should take it to the funeral home, since they also sell Limo's, RV's, Funeral Coaches and fire trucks. ha ha.

This was that car at the meet in Albany, with beacon and magnetic "ambulance" signs. Good luck with it, Bill!
