My Day at Carl's

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have free run of Carl's attic? By yourself? Ask me and I can tell you. Actually I did not spend the whole day. But I did have the place to myself for a couple hours today. Found some parts for me and some parts for a member. So it was a good day. Like the kid in the candy store I did not want to leave. We were on our way to Louisville, Ky for a dulcimer festival. Going down I75 we were within a mile of Carl's. I told Shelley we had to stop on Vine St for a bit. Then we were on the road again. I will have to get back as there are piles of items yet to be sorted through.
Yes, this was a very good day.

In answer to your questions, yes and maybe.
I found a NOS M-M fender emblem for my 61. Picked up a piece of curved rear corner glass for my M-M. Not a bad day for an M-M owner.
In my quest for Superior parts it was also a good day. While I did not find all the Superior parts on my list I think I made a good start. The only thing to distract a guy was a very friendly hound dog. He was not much help but he did like attention.
My next trip will have to be soon. Things seem to be a bit easier to go through, for now. It seems that Atti did some sorting and arranging when he visited and got those pictures on another thread here. Good job!

Mike, I have wondered and have done some roaming through Carl's parts room just last month. His dog is a great ambassador, too- you can't help but immediately love Buddy! I found some correct landau panels for my '75 M-M which rattled all the way home atop the folded back seat :D.

Carl is the owner of CW Coach in Cincinnati, Ohio. One of the busiest people I know. His phone seems to never stop ringing. He seems to be 'on call' 24/7.

It is nearly impossible to contact Carl or Dale these days and they are not big on returning calls or e-mails.

I thought Carl was going to be moving to a new location?? Since Mike mentioned Vine St.,I guess he's still in the same location.... Does anyone know if he still plans to move eventually??
