Did Barrington ever have a 48-inch roof Miller Meteor in the 1971 vintage? Still trying to track the lineage of my car. The emergency lighting and paint job were the same on my 1971.

Scott I'm not sure, I was born in 75 but one of the guys I work with worked for Barrington before coming to our job. I will see what I can dig up.

Is the '50 Miller from Barrington, as well? Note how the Trippe light has been slapped on the roof without consideration of how the beam travels.

Is the rescue truck a Providence?

most likly its just a remote spot light I don't know if they moved up and down or not. it is a funny angle to see it at. but the kids lined up along it make it a Daddy brings home the ambulance from work event.

The 50 Miller was the first ambulance in the Warren, Barrington area, according to BFD's website. The service was founded by a car saleman, in response to a shooting victim waiting too long for an ambulance. The salesman donated the car and it was staffed with BFD career personnel. The website does not describe the make of the rescue truck. Can you please provide some history on Providence Rescue Bodies.
